System Cleanup was made by Franck van der Sluijs, also known as Franckey. Franckey has a deep background in the field of I.T. and programming. He has created freeware for the use of everyone online. He published freeware such as Discs Index, Filename Checker, Links, Net Send, Photo Memory, Photo Releaser, SMS Send, Swap Mouse Buttons, Task Viewer, Web Tools, and Website Visitor. These freeware are available for download at any time. Franckey also published free applications for mobile devices like Advicent, Computable, Figlo, Intermediair, Tweakers and XS Internet.

The Freeware’s Capabilities

System Cleanup offers a simple solution to boot up computers faster. Its main design is to detect and delete files that can slow down computers. This includes outdated backup files, cache, history logs, and temporary files. They are located on the computer’s local and network drives. Finding and deleting them manually takes too much time. On the other hand, every recently used file are protected from getting removed. Users can manually indicate which drives and folders that will be excluded from the system cleanup. Performing a regular and scheduled cleanup improves a computer’s disk reading speed. The freeware provides cleanup actions depending which applications are installed on the computer. Every action information is color-coded for convenience. Green means no files for cleanup, Red means one or more files requires cleanup and Blue means registry cleanup, as well as a system function. Each available action comes with an information window where users can inspect extra cleanup information. They can discover files that need cleanup. They can use this feature for executing the diagnostic test on their computers if they can’t pinpoint the cause of their computer’s poor performance.

The freeware software comes with several functionalities. It clears history logs of Borland Developer Studio, Dreamweaver, Nero Burning Rom, RealOne Player, Windows Media Player, WinRar, and WinZip. It also cleans the history, cache, and cookies for web browsers for web browsers like Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. The list of recently used files for Office, Run, Paint, Windows, and WordPad, as well as the list of recently accessed network shares  are clearable. This freeware can delete auto-generated help-related files, old backup files, thumbnails cache files, Oracle client log files, Windows log files and debug memory dump files, Windows Update temporary files and uninstall information, Scandisk log files and saved lost clusters and temporary files for Borland Developer Studio, Word and system applications. The freeware is able to empty Java runtime cache, Outlook "Deleted Items" folder and Secure Temporary File folder, prefetch applications cache, user temporary directory, Windows event logs, Windows recycle bin and temporary directory. Its other function is activating Windows disk cleanup.
